An incredible experience from start to finish! Communicating and coordinating with Elke was super easy and seamless right from the get-go. We brought her an initial idea, and not only did she understand it right away, but she completely took it to the next level. She delivered a result that was so much better than we could have ever imagined, truly showing off her creativity and expertise.
The shoot was at the beach and required a sunrise start—a level of dedication and commitment that definitely deserves a shout-out! Plus, she has such a special gift with pets; Haku felt comfortable and completely relaxed the entire time.

I’m Elke, a dog photographer based in West End Vancouver. I spend most of my time photographing dogs. Being around dogs and their humans for years shaped the way I see things. When I'm photograph dogs I completely lost in the moment, the patience and the paying attention to them and how they comunicate with us, became part of my work.
I'm a entusiastic of dogs and their relationship with their guardians, Capturing daily "ordinary moments" and turn them in extraordinary and invaluable memories is my passion
I’m not interested in making everything look perfect or overly planned. The best images usually happen somewhere between confidence, tension, movement, and chemistry. I’m always looking for moments that feel impossible to fake.

We had such a great experience with Elke!! Everything was very well organized, and you could tell that a lot of care went into every detail. They had treats and toys to help get Ottis’s attention, great equipment, and an amazing team helping throughout the whole session. We especially loved seeing how much they care about the dogs’ comfort and well-being during the sessions. The coordination was excellent, and the final photos were absolutely beautiful. Our session with Elke was wonderful. As a dog trainer, it’s vital to me that my dog feels comfortable and heard during human experiences like photo shoots. I had concerns about how Bingo would handle the flash due to his recent fear of thunderstorms, but Elke was attentive, offered alternatives, and made me feel completely confident in her professionalism.
